Case Study

Commercial Development: New warehouse unit, Hayloft Plants

Hayloft Job

A horticultural site in rural Worcestershire, who purchase and deliver plants from Europe wanted to expand their existing business due to an increase in demand during and post covid. We have previously secured planning permission for an enlarged greenhouse on the site.

However, the clients also required a brand new building to accommodate their storage requirements, welfare/amenity facilities and office space. Working with architects and other consultants, we were able to gain  planning permission for a large brand new commercial building (1771m2).

The benefits of helping to support an important local business, employing local people were key to the permission being granted.

“For several years I completed planning applications myself which resulted in many refusals. I then found Simon Rees and overnight the refusals became approvals. Simon fully understands the planning system both from the applicants and the planning officer’s view. This maximises the planning success rate whilst keeping the costs to a minimum. Simon and his partner David are highly recommended.”
