Preparation & Submission of Planning Appeals

In the event that planning permission is refused or you’re appealing non-determination of your application, or a restrictive condition of a planning permission, we can manage the preparation, drafting and submission of all types of planning appeals to the Planning Inspectorate.

For a written representation appeal, we would complete all the appeal forms and provide a Statement of Case setting out the planning argument for the proposals and addressing the council’s reasons for refusal.

We would actively monitor the progress of the appeal, liaising with the Planning Inspectorate where necessary and provide further representations where required. We would manage whole process through to a formal appeal decision.

For appeals heard as an informal hearing, we would complete all the appeal submission forms and provide a detailed Statement of Case and Statement of Common Ground. We would monitor the progress of the appeal and provide further representations where required. We would attend a present your case to the Planning Inspector at the informal hearing. We would manage whole process through to a formal appeal decision.

Where a case is to be considered as a public inquiry, we would undertake the submission and provide a Proof of Evidence and Statement of Common Ground. We would act as the expert planning witness as well as manage any external consultants who may need to act as expert witnesses for specific technical and topic matters, such as highways and heritage considerations. We can also arrange for legal representation on your behalf as part of a Public Inquiry appeal.

We’ve used AddisonRees Planning consultancy on numerous occasions in connection with our holiday park businesses We cannot recommend them enough. Highly professional service, very efficient, with a wealth of knowledge.
