D&A Statements are a national validation requirement for certain types of developments and set out design rational and justification behind your planning application and to demonstrate your commitment to design that is accessible and inclusive to all.
Planning Statements can really help to set out the relevant planning policies and how the development accords with those policies. It is also an opportunity to set out sound planning arguments as well as providing examples of relevant appeal decisions and case law, that support the proposal.
