Construction of large detached domestic outbuilding

Working in partnership with the Classic Barn Company, we obtained planning permission for a large part-two storey domestic outbuilding in the grounds of a grade II listed house.

Positive pre-application discussions were held with the local planning authority (Wiltshire Council) initially, and we prepared a scheme that addressed all the queries raised in the pre-application discussions, which included showing the consideration of other positions on the site for the proposed outbuilding.

We provided background and the need justification for the outbuilding, which was a substantial structure and included a triple carport, single garage, large workshop with ancillary first floor space above.
