Minor Residential Development: Single residential plot, South Staffordshire

A client was looking for a new dwelling for her daughter. They owned a parcel of land within the Green Belt that contained existing buildings. Alongside an architect and other consultants, we were able to gain permission for the replacement of one of the buildings with a new small residential dwelling. We made a compelling argument with regards to the scheme being appropriate development in the Green Belt. The proposal was also of high quality design. Despite, numerous local objections, planning permission was granted at the Planning Committee.

The property has been built and recently won the Spirit of Self Build and Readers Choice Award at the Telegraph Housebuilding and Renovating Annual awards.
