Replacement Contemporary Dwelling: South Worcestershire, ADS Architects

We were asked to offer primary design advice by ADS Architects for a contemporary dwelling proposal on the edge of a village in rural Worcestershire. We initially offered advice which informed the evolution of the design of the dwelling as the clients wanted to build a very contemporary and energy efficient low carbon new home which was different and larger to the existing 1950s bungalow on site.

Once a final design was formulated we prepared a supporting Planning Statement, Design and Access Statement and Water Management Statement and submitted and managed the planning application through to a formal decision. Following liaison with the council on some of the minor design details the application was approved.
