Who Are AddisonRees?

AddisonRees Planning Consultancy Ltd have over 30 years experience in all areas of planning.

David and Simon worked together for around 8 years before the business was started. We have built up a very strong working relationship and share the same desire to help customers through the planning system to achieve their development goals.

All of our team are Chartered Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute and we pride ourselves on the basis of providing detailed honest advice and guidance. We fully understand the costs and timeframes involved in planning matters. Therefore, it is imperative that our customers understand any potential risks through the planning system.

Experienced

We have three fully qualified RTPI Planners in the company, who have a combined experience of well over 30 years in the planning sector. This experience has been developed through both working at local planning authorities and within the private sector. Our experience covers all aspects of the planning system. Therefore, we have a wealth of experience to support our clients, whether that be individual homeowners, landowners, agricultural and rural workers, small / medium sized house builders as well as the major developers and a range of commercial enterprises.

Value

We offer great value for money utilising our experience to remove any unnecessary costs. We offer an initial free ‘no obligation’ advice to all clients. We set out our costs clearly for each stage of the process, as well as highlighting other potential costs involved in any stage of the application process.

Honesty

We can never guarantee a successful outcome to planning submissions, but we’ll always be 100% honest in our opinion as to the likely outcome based on our experience.  We will never direct you to submit applications where there is very little chance of success, though we would fully support whatever decision is made by our client, and always seek to put the best case forward in any application. The planning process can be very costly. Therefore, we will always make sure our clients are fully aware of the risks.

What Simon Rees of AddisonRees Planning Consultancy Ltd doesn’t know about planning isn’t worth knowing. His knowledge of the planning system, and in particular Wychavon District Council, secured approvals in three difficult commercial planning applications, one with an officer recommended refusal. His attention to detail is superb, and quite frankly if Simon can’t do it then no-one can. Working from home means that he is low cost, and in my opinion, fantastic value for money.
